Fluent in both English<br \/>\nand Khmer and a resident of Khvein village he is an ideal &#8216;go<br \/>\nbetween&#8217; for us. Veasna has been instrumental in all of this year&#8217;s<br \/>\naid program to the school in Khvein village.<\/p>\n<p>After leaving school, Veasna was fortunate to be enrolled at the Sala<br \/>\nBai Hotel and Restaurant School <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salabai.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #247cd4;\">http:\/\/www.salabai.com\/<\/span><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifc.org\/ifcext\/mekongpsdf.nsf\/AttachmentsByTitle\/Booklet_Sa\"><span style=\"color: #247cd4;\">http:\/\/www.ifc.org\/ifcext\/mekongpsdf.nsf\/AttachmentsByTitle\/Booklet_Sa<\/span><\/a><br \/>\nlabai\/$FILE\/Salabai.pdf<\/p>\n<p>From there he has been employed as a pool and bar attendant at a very<br \/>\nlarge French luxuary hotel.<\/p>\n<p>His is a story of someone who has made good.<\/p>\n<p>Now he is giving his time to help more children from his village,<br \/>\nknowing that education is the key to advancement.<\/p>\n<p>See his picture in the Photo Album &#8220;Local facilitators&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Bienvenu, Veasna!<\/p>\n<p>Martin and Margaret<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We would like to introduce our friend Veasna.
