The death toll from one of the most destructive storms in years to hit Southeast Asia, has risen to at least 331.<\/p>\n

Typhoon Ketsana was downgraded to a tropical depression, as it crossed into a fourth nation, Laos.<\/p>\n

In Cambodia, at least 11 people were killed when the storm hit there on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Authorities are still searching for more victims and are rushing food, medical supplies and plastic sheeting for temporary tents to hard-hit areas.<\/p>\n

The typhoon left 74 people dead in Vietnam after flash flooding caused landslides which buried residents.<\/p>\n

The clean-up task across the region is enormous and thousands have been left homeless.<\/p>\n

The death toll is highest in the Philippines where Typhoon Katsana first hit, killing 246 people.<\/p>\n

It triggered the country’s worst flooding in 40 years and dozens more people are still missing.<\/p>\n

Those who survived the disaster now face more danger, as another tropical storm gathers off the Philippines east coast.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
