\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Meet with School Director, Mr Hon, reviewing his needs for the coming year.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Inspect school premises, especially the library building and the equipment (including computer), and assess needs.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Inspect the school solar system and determine its effectiveness in lighting classrooms and facilitating afternoon classes. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Fix date of next school excursion.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Meet with Director of <\/span><\/strong>Angkor<\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/strong>National<\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/strong>Museum<\/span><\/strong> to make arrangements for visit of school grades 5 and 6 \u2013 free entry and provision of guides.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Meet with Veasna who is being sponsored by Ray and Ann for his university studies. We need to report on his progress.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Meet with R_______ whose school fees at a private English language school are met by\u00a0Rosemary\u00a0from\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Christchurch<\/span><\/strong>, <\/span><\/strong>New Zealand<\/span><\/strong>. Again we need to assess its effectiveness.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Meet with R_______ to review the Saturday English language class at the school which we support.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Meet with the Captain at the Army Base to give advice.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Margaret to conduct advanced English class with Vandy, R________ and Mr Hon<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rice deliveries <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Meet with all the nine school teachers to hear their assessment of their current needs and how the supply of rice to them is effective.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Visit families in the village who have at least one parent suffering with HIV\/AIDS.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>For the family receiving regular monthly rice deliveries, we need to confirm that it\u2019s being properly used.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Meet with the group of landmine victims, Khmer Independent Life Team (KILT), and review their rice-milling process and rice deliveries for us, and future plans for modelling corruption free schools.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Meet with Kourosh Aghassipour to determine future directions of rice deliveries e.g. bulk storage facilities.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Meet with tour guide and our facilitator, Phath Lem.

\nThis trip will take place during the Khmer New Year celebrations so the school will be closed. We can take advantage of that to concentrate on the adults and prepare for the next trip when we will be with the children. On past trips, we have had to get everything done in a short time and it has been totally exhausting, but this way i.e. a preparatory trip, allows us some more planning.
