We estimate that to equip\u00a0a student for this year will cost US$7.50 each, totalling approximately US$1,785. Each student will receive a tailor-made school uniform made of good, hard-wearing cloth, as well as exercise books, pens and pencils for the year. Our regular tailor will supervise this work and our\u00a0regular stationery supplier will be providing the books, pens and pencils.<\/p>\n
We would also like to provide 2 bookcases at Kok Beng and Kok Tachan schools, i.e. 4 bookcases, made to our own design and specifications. It’s our wish that all three schools should receive similar support and so the bookcases that will form school libraries should be uniform in appearance.<\/p>\n
We’re hoping to arrange for this in the coming weeks. Now it’s time to ensure there are sufficient funds on hand to complete the task.<\/p>\n
