Bel’s group of landmine victims plan a new home

Thanks to the generosity of a donor, it’s now possible for the group of 18 people that Bel leads (all Khmer landmine victims) to re-locate.

Following Typhoon Ketsana, the group, then known as KILT, were devastated by the storm waters and vital rice-milling equipment was destroyed.

The plan is to move to a vacant block of land with cheaper rent and erect 2 dwellings, toilet block, rice-milling area and so on.

A donor has met all their budgeted costs and with the guidance and input of Kourosh, the news is very positive.

Wonderful news!
