Last week another rice delivery was made to the 9 teachers of Khvien school. A village family (HIV/AIDS sufferers) also received one of the ten sacks of rice, each containing 50kg, enough to feed the needy families for much of the coming month. June rice delivery will be arranged next week when Kourosh arrives back in SR from Thailand. 1 bag (50kg) to each of the nine teachers @ Khvien school + 1 family suffering from HIV/AIDS. 2 bags will go to KILT as payment towards handling the purchasing and delivery. Twelve bags in total (0.6tonne).

KILT to mill rice again!

In April, at KILT they will be ready to re-mill the rice for the first time after the floods and not only will this end any problems of short changing us by a few kilos as many market traders are wont to do but it should also mean a better quality of rice.
