Rotary have donated $500 towards current projects and this has been supplemented by other funds to purchase a “Remok” in Siem Reap. This is a long trailer hauled by motorbike and we envisage it being used to transport sacks of rice for the monthly rice deliveries to teachers and village families.
It can also be used for transporting husk rice from the paddy fields into town where it will be nilled by Bel’s group.
We are having the trailer fitted with stabilisers so that it can be used to also transport village children into the town of Siem Reap for computer classes on a Sunday each week.
